The theme at this small, middle-end boutique hotel housed in a restored 19th-century Ottoman house is ancient Rome, with reproductions of mosaics discovered at the site of Zeugma decorating the walls. The hotel is ideally set in the Sultanahmet district, within walking distance from the Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace Museum, Grand Bazaar, Spice Market, Basilica Cistern and the Byzantine Hippodrome. The cruise ship terminal and railway station of the Orient Express are a few minutes away. All of the rooms are tastefully decorated and essentially the same: clean, bright, and functional, with cabin showers and parquet flooring. Windows are double-glazed to keep out the sounds of nighttime revellers across the street.
